Casa Nada stands in Todos Santos desert, Mexico
Situated on a gentle rise in the desert environment of Todos Santos, Mexico, Casa Nada is a three-bedroom residence built with concrete and blockwork. The home’s design features a pass-through floor plan that allows seamless flow of people, air, and shadows, creating a close relationship with its natural surroundings.

louvered white panel exterior defines Casa Nada
The structure faces the Pacific coast, oriented to optimize sunlight and prevailing breezes. Its main elevation is lined with a facade of nineteen louvered white doors that manage airflow, channeling steady ocean winds into the home to help maintain a comfortable indoor climate. Clean geometric forms and the consistent exterior of white louvered panels give Casa Nada its minimalist appeal. The design was envisioned by the owners—both clothing designers—marking their first residential construction project.
