In Palm Beach County, boating is less a pastime than a way of life. On any given morning, boats hit the Intracoastal, fishermen head for deep-water fishing, and families cruise between waterfront restaurants from Jupiter to Palm Beach, down to Boca Raton.

Now, a major new marina project is preparing to reshape the Palm Beach North boating landscape.

PORT 32 Marinas, LLC has officially begun pre-leasing for PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens, a newly constructed marina that hopes to redefine the boating experience. Scheduled to debut in December 2026, the project represents a significant investment in northern Palm Beach County’s marine infrastructure. And that’s a sure sign of the area’s continued rise as a premier boating destination.

“We are thrilled to begin pre-leasing for PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens,” says Austin Schell, CEO of PORT 32 Marinas. “This marina is more than a place to dock a boat — it’s the starting point for memorable days on the water and the lifestyle that comes with them.”

Located at 2385 PGA Boulevard, PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens offers direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway and is positioned between the Jupiter and Palm Beach inlets, two heavily used gateways to the Atlantic. For boaters, the location translates into fast runs offshore for sportfishing, easy coastal cruising, and convenient access to waterfront communities stretching from Jupiter Island to Palm Beach and beyond.

Palm Beach International Airport is just 20 minutes away, and the Bahamas—long a favorite destination for South Florida boaters—are only 56 nautical miles across the Gulf Stream. These connections make the marina an attractive homeport for local residents and seasonal visitors.

PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens is being developed as a ground-up redevelopment and will ultimately feature 471 total slips. Of those, 451 will be fully enclosed dry storage slips, complemented by 20 wet slips designed for larger vessels.

The dry storage facility will accommodate boats from small tenders to vessels up to 60 feet in length overall and 22 feet in height, while the newly constructed wet slips will accommodate boats ranging from 50 to 100 feet. Transient dockage will also be available.

Northern Palm Beach County has experienced steady growth in marine activity as new residents arrive, waterfront communities expand, and interest in boating continues to rise. Projects like PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens are designed to meet that demand while elevating the overall marina experience.

The development says it is built around a concept that has become increasingly important to modern boat owners: convenience. The marina’s layout and operations are designed to streamline the logistics of boating, allowing owners to spend more time on the water and less time coordinating storage, fueling, and maintenance.

PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens will offer valet boat storage and concierge-style service, so members can arrive at the marina to find their vessel already launched, fueled, and ready for departure. Pre-ordered provisions, like drinks, ice, and other supplies can also be arranged ahead of time.

At the end of a day of fun and sun on the water, the process works in reverse. Boaters return to the dock, step off, and the marina staff handles washdown, engine flushing, and secure storage within the weather-protected facility.

The marina will also feature direct access to haul-out, launch, and provisioning services, creating an integrated environment where maintenance, fueling, and preparation all occur on-site.

Project developers also say the advanced infrastructure is a defining element. The facility will operate with the largest marina forklifts in the U.S, capable of lifting up to 75,000 pounds. The machines are equipped with elevating cabs designed to improve visibility and precision, allowing operators to maneuver large vessels with greater safety and efficiency.

An on-site ship store and fueling dock also make things more convenient. The fueling facility will offer both REC-90 gasoline and diesel through high-speed pumps designed to reduce wait times during busy boating weekends.

Beyond the water itself, the development also reflects the evolving lifestyle surrounding boating in Palm Beach County. Many modern boat owners look at their marina not only as a place to keep their boat but also as a place to socialize, work remotely, and meet other members of the boating community. For this, PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens will include a private, members-only flexible workspace.

The property will also feature about 31,296 square feet of commercial space dedicated to marine services and boat sales. Climate-controlled offices, retail space, and heated and cooled service units will support a variety of marine-related businesses, helping establish the marina as a hub for the local boating economy.

Security is also in the design. PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens is the only Category 5 hurricane-rated marina in Palm Beach County, engineered to withstand winds up to 180 miles per hour. The facility’s storm-resistant construction has been recognized by most insurance providers as an accepted hurricane dockage location, offering added peace of mind for boat owners during Florida’s storm season.

Additional features include tenant-reserved parking, electric vehicle charging stations, remote-controlled access gates, and 24-hour video surveillance.

The marina is designed as a self-service facility, allowing owners and captains flexibility in how they manage their vessels. Boaters can bring their own crew or work with one of PORT 32’s pre-approved vendors, maintaining operational standards while preserving independence.

The marina will also be home to Gulfstream Boat Club. Boat clubs have grown rapidly across Florida in recent years as more people seek flexible ways to enjoy time on the water.

For PORT 32 Marinas, the Palm Beach Gardens project represents another step in the company’s broader expansion across coastal markets.

“PORT 32 Palm Beach Gardens was built for the next generation of boaters,” Schell adds. “From storage and technology to service and design, every detail was created to simplify the boating experience — more time with friends and family on the water, and less time getting there.”
