Cartier | Palm Beach
French luxury brand Cartier has opened a new location in Palm Beach.
The company has leased space at 70 Royal Poinciana Plaza, within the Royal Poinciana Plaza complex, according to an announcement. The boutique occupies part of the historic Royal Poinciana Playhouse, as detailed in a Cartier press release.
Founded nearly two centuries ago in Paris and currently led by Cyrille Vigneron, Cartier is renowned for its fine jewelry, watches, leather goods, fragrances, and other luxury accessories.
The Royal Poinciana Plaza spans 192,000 square feet and was developed during the 1950s. The playhouse, completed in 1958, was designed by the late architect John Volk in the Regency Revival style, the release notes.
The plaza is owned by a trust led by Sidney Spiegel, while Boston-based WS Development holds the leasehold interest for the property.
Cartier’s arrival follows other recent leases at Royal Poinciana Plaza, including Hill House Home (an apparel, home goods, and accessories retailer), Swedish candy shop ScandyCandy, and the British childrenswear boutique La Coqueta.
The specific square footage leased by Cartier was not immediately disclosed.
SunLife Organics | Miami
SunLife Organics, a juice bar and retailer of apparel and organic products, is set to open in Miami’s Wynwood neighborhood.
The company has leased 2,000 square feet at Calle Collective, the art and culture hub located at 2200 Northwest First Avenue within Fisher Brothers’ Joule House apartment building, according to a statement from the landlord. SunLife Organics is expected to open its doors in the third quarter.
David Abrams and Jeff Jacobson of Masonre represented both Fisher Brothers and SunLife in the transaction. Fisher Brothers’ Clark Briffel and Myles Grossman also represented the landlord.
SunLife Organics was founded and is owned by Khalol Rafati, who leads the health and wellness brand.
Fisher Brothers, a New York-based firm led by the Fisher family, completed construction of the eight-story, 308-unit Joule House earlier this year. Calle Collective features 19 large murals created by local Miami artists.
Bagels & Co., more | Fort Lauderdale
Following a series of new deals, the Pinecrest Square shopping center in Fort Lauderdale is now fully leased.
The largest of the recent leases saw the nonprofit Trustbridge Hospice Foundation take 4,600 square feet for a hospice furniture showroom at 903-999 East Cypress Creek Road in the Cypress Creek submarket, according to Jaime Sturgis of Native Realty, who represented the landlord.
Additional leases include Bagels & Co., which signed for 2,100 square feet, and Bio Health IV Clinic, an infusion therapy center, which leased 1,500 square feet, according to a Native Realty release.
Trustbridge, Bagels & Co., and Bio Health IV are all expected to open in early 2025, Sturgis said.
Barbershop Guys & Dolls renewed its lease for 1,500 square feet under new terms. The business was already a tenant at the plaza, according to Sturgis.
Three other tenants also renewed their leases: Tacos Los Guachi’s (1,700 square feet), Kavasutra Kava Bar (1,400 square feet), and Dr. Henry Merritt (1,200 square feet), the release states.
Entity 903 Cypress Creek, based in Plantation, purchased Pinecrest Square for $10.3 million this past June, according to public records. The plaza, which measures 40,000 square feet and sits on a 2-acre lot, was originally built in 1980.
