As the buying season intensifies, South Florida real estate firms are actively expanding their teams with new talent.
Compass has welcomed the Champagne & Parisi Team—a group of 78 agents—into its Boca Raton office, according to a company announcement. Previously known as Champagne & Parisi Real Estate, the team was established in 2011 by Claude Champagne and Caesar Parisi. The group specializes in luxury properties across Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Highland Beach, and Boynton Beach.
The recent $1.6 billion acquisition of Anywhere Real Estate by Compass has made waves in the industry, and Compass’ momentum in the South Florida market continues. In July, Compass brought on the 40-agent Korman Group in Boca Raton, followed by the addition of a 15-agent team in Stuart in September.
In other developments, KW Property Management & Consulting (KWPMC) appointed Jennifer Santaniello as regional vice president to oversee its Palm Beach County portfolio, according to a company release. Santaniello will focus on enhancing property values for the firm’s condo and homeowners association clients. She previously served as vice president of the Manhattan condo and co-op division at FirstService Residential.
KWPMC has also been named property manager for the newly completed Forté on Flagler in West Palm Beach, a 25-story condominium developed by Two Roads Development and Alpha Blue Ventures. The 40-unit building began closings earlier this summer, with buyers including Fox News contributor Liz Peek, New York Times heiress Cynthia Sulzberger, and former Sotheby’s Holdings president and CEO Michael Ainslie.
Odevo, a Sweden-based company, acquired KWPMC from founder Paul Kaplan in 2022 and appointed him CEO of Odevo U.S. last year. In February, Katalina Cruz was named CEO of KWPMC and senior vice president of Odevo U.S., while Jorge Lago was promoted to president and chief operating officer of KWPMC.
Additionally, Illustrated Properties has hired Shane McCain as its director of commercial real estate. McCain is the founder of BluEdge Professional Real Estate, a commercial brokerage based in Palm Beach Gardens. He brings seven associates from BluEdge, all of whom will work out of Illustrated’s corporate headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens.
